How I look after the information you give me.
Last updated 30 October 2026
Who I am
Endurance Architect is me, Andrew Bannister, a coach based in the UK. I decide what happens to your information and I'm responsible for it. Questions or requests: andrew@endurancearchitect.com.
What I collect
- Your first name and age. Your email and full name still sit in my inbox, in Intervals.icu and with GoCardless.
- Your weight, if you give it.
- Health details: injuries, operations, conditions, medication, pain.
- Your training history, goals, races, work pattern and the time you have.
- Training data from your watch and apps once you connect them to Intervals.icu: heart rate, pace, power, and sleep or HRV if you choose to share them.
- What you tell me in messages and on calls.
Why
I use it to plan and adjust your training and to check how you're responding. I don't use it for marketing and I never sell it.
I use your general details because coaching you is the agreement between us. Health details need your clear permission, which you give with a tick on the getting-started form. You can take it back at any time by telling me. Without any health information I can't coach you safely, so we'd have to stop.
Who helps me
Some of these companies store data outside the UK, for example in the US. Each has its own privacy policy on its website.
AI tools
I use AI to help with my planning. I set the approach, the goals and the season plan, and I choose the sessions based on where you are and what you're working towards. The tools speed up the maths and the progression I'd otherwise spend hours on. I check every plan and every session before it reaches you.
I keep what I collect, and what I share with the tools, to a minimum. They only get your first name and the details that matter for your training.
If that doesn't suit you, tell me on the intro call before we start.
Common questions
Do the AI tools learn from my information? No.
Who else sees it? Nobody. The services above store it for me, and your page shows your first name and plan only.
What if I stop training with you? I keep your records for the period below, then delete them. Ask and I'll delete them sooner.
Your page
Your season page is password-protected and uses your first name only. It shows your plan, not your health details.
How long I keep it
For as long as I coach you. Once we stop, I delete your health and training records within 2 years, in case you come back. Ask me to delete them sooner and I will. Payment records are kept for as long as HMRC requires.
Your rights
You can ask me to:
- show you what I hold about you;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- stop or limit how I use it;
- send it to you in a format you can take elsewhere.
Email me and I'll reply within a month. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, tell me first so I can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If I change how I use your information, I'll update this page and tell you directly.
